Get caught up in the action and step back in time to the Gilded Age in Newport. The Newport Art Museum invites you to the Newport Nuptials: For Better or Worse interactive Murder Mysteries set in the year 1925 at the wedding reception of Hermann and Dumpy Oelrichs, Jr., and Portrait of a Killer set in 1893 at a sting operation to catch the Victorian serial thief, the "Art Stripper."
Weekly Performances: The Newport Art Museum is an 1864 Arts and Crafts Stick Style mansion built by Richard Morris Hunt. Filled with beautiful artwork, The Griswold House is the perfect setting for "Newport Nuptials" and "Portrait of a Killer." An engaging evening complete with an array of Newport society members, music, dancing, and frivolity, these fast-paced 90-minute shows are family-friendly and proves that no matter what the year, people are the same!
