Newport Murder Mystery

Get caught up in the action and step back in time to the Gilded Age in Newport.  The Newport Art Museum invites you to "The Butler Did It!" interactive Murder Mysteries set in the 1890s.  Guests are presumed to be servants from other Newport homes who have been invited to a party that goes horribly wrong.  You will need to help search the museum for clues, question suspects and put together your theory of the crime.

Weekly Performances:  The Newport Art Museum is an 1864 Arts and Crafts style mansion built by Richard Morris Hunt.  Filled with beautiful artwork, The Griswold House is the perfect setting for "The Butler Did It!"  An engaging evening complete with an array of amusing servant characters, dancing and musical entertainments, old grudges, new twists, and timeless treasures, this 90-minute show is family-friendly and proves that no matter what the year, people are the same!
